Located near Hakata Station, Hakata Ikkousha Main Store is a popular ramen restaurant known for its unique “bubble” tonkotsu broth.

What surprised me was the strikingly dark, almost black soup, which was quite different from the traditional image of Hakata ramen. It was rich and flavorful without being too heavy.
The chashu was another highlight—firm and satisfyingly chewy, with plenty of flavor.
There may be a line, but it’s definitely worth the wait if you want to experience a unique side of Hakata ramen.
